Holding back tears,
Thinking about years,
We've spent together.
Know I love you,
With all my heart,
I have from the very start.

Oh I wish I could,
Change the hands of time,
No drama and you would be mine.
You will do anything to stay,
But I'm stuck on this devastation until May.

I'm not there,
My bed remains bare.
Even with what we have been through,
Know I still love you.
I'll be home in May,
At this point that's all I can say.
