10 Things To Do Before You Die Poem by Randy McClave

10 Things To Do Before You Die

10 things you must do before you die
Before you say your final goodbye,
Before you leave your mortal life forever
And having no ties, to forgive or sever.

Number10 thing that I would say
Is to get on your knees and pray,
Since you know that you are going to die
Look behind you, and then cry.

Number 9 of course it would be
To set your soul and your mind free,
Seek out and ask to be forgiven
By the people that you have hurt that are still livin'.

Number 8 that you should complete
With your Family once again you should all meet,
Clear up your worries and all of your debt
And then give and receive smiles, and not one regret.

Number 7 upon this list
Would be to remember everyone that you have kissed,
Remember the love that you had declared
And the people that had really and truly cared.

Number 6 that you should really seek
Would be for forgiveness to all to speak,
From the people that you have used or hurt
Give them your shirt.

Number 5 you need not really to ponder
Or should you need to ever wonder,
No matter the time or the size
Ask for forgiveness for every one of your lies.

Number 4 that I would preach
Would not be out of thought or even reach,
Remember it's better not to burn
Everything you stole or kept, replace or return.

Number 3 that you must truly follow
So, your soul won't be empty or hollow,
To all your acquaintances both woman and men
Admit and confess to them your faults and sin.

Number 2, that you should not forbade
Keep every promise that you have ever made,
And those who you have falsely judged and blamed
Bow your head, and be ashamed.

Number1 thing that you must undoubtedly do
Before your life is finally over and through,
Pray to God, even if you have never talked to him before
He will still answer every knock on his door.
