10-Year-Old Bandits



Back then most neighbors had gardens to tend.
When vegetables broke ground, finally, ascend,
At night we would raid one's vegetable plot,
Uproot a veggie, hoping not to get caught.
Even though our own garden grew what we took,
"Twas a past-time thrill bring a big-time crook!
