I lay lonely in bed
when I hear you whisper in my ear
I turn on my side
and remember, your not here

There's nothing more I miss
then the simple touch of your skin
our bodies entwined
such a beautiful sin

the candle light begins to dim
as I look into your eyes
a deep soulful blue
it's this innocence that keeps you from your demise

Sometimes I cry out in the night
because I'm scared my life's not real
scared of losing everyone
and forgetting how to feel

as cliche as it sounds
you are the world to me
that's why I gave you my heart
with loving you comes a fee

one I will pay
over and over again
because I told you I will love you
until the very end
