179. My Silent Words Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

179. My Silent Words

My silent words suffer
From loneliness.
Like a convict they are chained
And fed almost nothing.
They are unable to speak
To others and to me.

Like a prisoner caged
In a solitary cell
They are confined
Within myself.
They cry silently
Day after day.

My silent words try to express
Their suffering and pain
But being unable
They moan silently
Every time
In my heart, in my mind.

They are too weary
To raise voice
But revolt in me silently.
To release their agony
They work silently
Only for my creativity.

A great message is contained in the words not spoken. It is not easy to express the feeling. You have done a great job in conveying this state.
