1993 Poem by David Blake

1993

Rating: 5.0

Too many moons have passed to
justify the pain. Blaming you for
the sadness in the far off sky I
kneel beside the sea and cry.
Wondering long past what was
and is, and could still be; I stare
into the eye of the universe
unaware of time. Flying faster and
faster through the years, searching
if for no other reason, than why after
all these years I still love you,
something I only dare explain.

That was a beautifully dark poem I really like it though its sad. What's funny is I started to read it because in 1993 the greatest thing happened...I was born. Lol no I'm kidding but even after 16 years your love still burns thanks and remember...Spread Yourself! ! ! !

True love lingers disturbingly long even after all hope has faded. Your poem captures that nicely.
