I see the people
of the earth.
It's the eve of year 2000.
Time Zone to Time Zone
they welcome the New Year
with music, song and dance.

So many variations
of cultural celebrations.
A sparkling tribute
to the kaleidoscope of man.

Fireworks Extraordinaire
light the sea
of smiling faces.
Satellite to Satellite
the parade of celebration
marches by
through the T.V. camera's eye.

A welcome scene,
we share a dream.
A peaceful, prosperous
brotherhood of man.

Let a New Day Begin.
