I was asked to provide
Some facts about my life
But not my life right now—
My life in 2025

I wrote five words at first
But I needed to explain
So each word is explained, in turn
Within the asterisks on this page

I will teach
I will reach
See the need
Meet with speed
Life will be:

Busy
Purposeful
Inspiring
Fulfilling
Exciting

Lesson planning
Two a.m.
Exhausted, yes
But it's for them

On a mission
I won't adjourn
My aim in life
Is help them learn

I'll light a fire
In children's minds
That says "Reach higher,
Believe, change lives"

My heart will smile
Satisfied
At what I have
And how I strive

A new adventure
Every day
Eagerly discovering
What comes my way

So there you have it
A glimpse of who I am
It's my last year of college
And now you know my plans

But I don't know where life will take me
Or everything that I'll decide
I guess I'll have to find that out
In 2025!
