20th Century Doings, Part I



My name is Dmitri Shostakovich-
Maybe you have heard a symphony of mine-
Anyway, a soviet railway designer and I,
Whe were on good terms,
Went into a great wood together
To get drunk on vodka.
The variegated sounds of nature babbled in my ears,
When to my great surprise he said:
