21 Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Amrit; sustains my inner being
Naam, Daan, Ishnan allow me; to be
Dharam di Kirat, a humanbeing’ only need
What dharamsalas entry is denied to one as me?
This days Kirtan’ resound in the essence of my
whole... these moments of each Katha, bring me closer
to the path and IAM presents this Langar, this substance
above that of all food for the feast of all religions of all consciousness or all reason to attend and enjoy respect and sovereignty will rule these sanctums; love and joy will be the
only truths offerings herein are moot, and as so unnecessary; there is only one compulsion and that is you… within this house there is but one floor, one of merit, one of accomplishment, one of home
all beings, irrespective of their past times; will arrive here
and greet each other as peers each will meet and greet each
other as Gurmukh; for here combined as soul and child
Kirat Karō, Nām Japō and Vaṇḍ Chhakō are every
child’s honor and most sacred vow and the
Ardas whisper continually easing
the pain of each child’s
trials and final life...
The Awe of This Moment
Awaits All... Listen
Closely for That
Call As The Time
is Ever
Near...
It Is My
Only Prayer Left
for Me to Pray For
the Each of My
Children Please
Do Listen
For
Me
I
