287. Don't Change Your Originality Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

287. Don't Change Your Originality

Rating: 5.0

The earth is the perfect abode
For the people with beautiful minds,
Soft hearts and angelic souls
But no one can possess all the virtues.

Some have very kind hearts.
Some are very intelligent.
Some are broad minded.
But no one can be fully perfect.

Modern age is guided by technology.
People are updating themselves.
You too have to walk with the rhythm
Of modernity to survive on this earth.

Some qualities in us are inborn.
Some can only be pruned.
Try to possess only the virtues
And drive away all the vices in you.

Never be a blind supporter of a person.
Never try to copy someone.
Judge yourself
Only with the light of knowledge.

Remember everything must change
But the radical elements will remain same.
You can never change yourself
As the earth can't stop its motion.

The virtues in you are like angels.
The vices in you are like devils.
Be a self teacher to be a good human being
But never change your originality.
