3 - Birds Bills And Flowers

The geranium gets its name
from its beaked fruit capsule's resemblance
to the head of a crane.
'Crane' in Greek is 'geranos'.

The pelargonium, with a similar beak,
is from the Greek for 'stork', 'pelargos'.

The stork's-bill, of the geranium family,
is called erodium too.
'Heron' is 'erodios' in Greek.
