When I’m lost and lonely
When I feel I’ve lost the way
When darkness casts its cloak around me
Something comes to save the day
Three small lights are there to guide me
They burn intense and bright
Lighting up the life around me
Bringing day into my night
When I’m cast out on the ocean
When the wind whips up the sea
Somewhere through the raging tempest
Three bits of driftwood come to me
And as I sink into the water
Swallowing the icy death
My hands embrace three bits of flotsam
The guardians of my living breath
Each day with you is precious
Each hour a blessing in disguise
You bring me hope and moments treasured
You bring the sunshine to my skies
And in the long hours of the evening
When shadows pass into the night
I can look up into the heavens
Where my three stars are shining bright
This sparkles of encouragement and of a secure safeness that you are happy to share.. thank you

Very nicely done Bob. You present as a man who has his priorities well in hand and in this poem do a fine job of portraying the confidence of one who has mastered that task. Thanks for sharing.
