Dear world,

Hello there! It’s me again.
It seems it’s been too long.
If you’re wondering where I’ve been,
I can assure your guess is wrong.

If you’ll let me speak openly,
I’ve been searching far and wide
For the girl with a skeleton key
Who could unlock all the doors inside.

A girl who could melt a harden heart
With just a simple offhand smile.
A girl who could help jumpstart
Feelings unused for quite a while.

The pursuit became rather extensive,
I nearly gave up a time or two.
My mind came to be vile and pensive
But such apprehension wouldn’t do.

So I gathered all my strength within
And vowed to conquer here.
With renewed hope I started again,
This time ungoverned by fear.

It was then that I discovered her
Waiting patiently to be found.
In retrospect it’s one pleasant blur,
It happened swiftly, without a sound.

With key in hand, she walked right in,
With the future in mind, she’ll stay.
Without apology or chagrin
She molded my life like clay.

No matter what the future will bring
Or where this long road goes,
I’ll play the part of your noble king
And she’ll play your queen in royal clothes.

As king and queen we’ll proudly raise
Two princesses and a prince,
Whom you’ll warmly and cordially praise
At your own substantial expense.

Or if I’m wrong in all of this
And you treat us vicious and cruel,
I’ll still live with everlasting bliss
Because she is my crowned jewel.

So do your worst or give your best,
The ending will still be the same.
Be my lewd enemy or be my guest,
I’ll still rest beside my loyal dame.

I don’t expect a mystic fairy tale,
I don’t foresee a life of ease
But on love’s light wind we’ll sail
Around you wherever we please.

Well, it’s been so nice to share with you
My life as it goes speeding.
