339. Numb Poem by Jaden Knight

339. Numb

You threw away my memories
so I couldn't remember the pain
tried to take away my feelings
now I'm numb

Didn't give me the love I needed
so I had to improvise
thought I had found something
but it was nothing in disguise
it made me numb

You told me you were being honest
but I got burnt by all your lies
now they all mean nothing
and that's when I realised
I've become numb

You tried lying cheating and hurting me
wanted to make me believe I was dumb
now you have no effect on me
thanks to your actions
I am numb
