I have only known you for a few days
but what a few days they have been
I just want to write this to tell you
just how much you really mean

Your smiles are like a sun
trying to blind me with its rays
your eyes are like deep blue sapphires
reading my heart with their gaze

I want you to use my stomach as a pillow
while I play with your red hair as you rest
keep you safe until morning
for you I want only the best

I want to shower you with kisses
pouring over you like rain
soaking gently into your skin
relieving some of your pain

I want to help you as much as I can
for you I want to always be there
I sorry I can't find the words
to tell you just how much I care
