I don’t know if I say it enough but you’re my one true best friend,
My partner in crime for 13 years and will continue to be until the end,
You’re there for me when I’m down or if I’ve just had a bad day,
You have me laughing in minutes and you always know what to say.
You never judge me at all; no matter what it is I do,
You just smile at me and say you’ll always help me through.
A lot has changed and that’s just the way things tend to go,
But amazingly through everything our friendship continues to grow.
Every time I want to run from my problems you convince me to stay,
And if I didn’t have you by my side I don’t think I’d be here today.
I don’t think I could ever thank you enough for all that you do,
Just know that I love you and anytime you need me, I’m here for you.
