Gaslighter, backslider.
Doing anything to get yourself farther.
Gaslighter, denier.
Promised you would be a good father.
We moved away so you could chase your dreams.
But nobody knew you were mean to me.
Grabbing other girls,
You wanted to fool around.
Controlled my every move,
Until I was flat on the ground.
Wondering and praying,
About the things, I'd done wrong.
I crawled upon on my knees,
I remember all the hurtful things you said to me.
Gaslighter, denier.
Promised me the world,
But it fell like sand.
I went through so much pain,
Yet you couldn't hold my hand.
Dumbed me down so I went insane,
All my dreams swirled down the drain.
