504 Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

504

She is gone!
Sweet Voice from east
Her essence too
lost In the breeze

Wispy wings
Carried her away
Dew drops on leaves
Climbed up Suns rays

A delicate flower
She lived on dreams
You trampled her
Couldn't hear her screams?

Prismatic sheen
Through tears
She's seen
On own shadows
She had to lean

Braving through
Heat of the hell
Shivering through
Cold winters spells

Diamond core
Concrete
For shell
In her veins
Pure lava melts

This is what
Become of me
Once water lily
Now cactus creed
