You say that you would die for me
sacrificing yourself for whatever cause I name
throwing it all away as if it is meaningless
but that is not what I would want

any fool can die for something
even if it they don't believe in it
dying for someone is too easy
I will set you a harder challenge

I want you to live for me
to devote each breath and heartbeat
not just to me but to the bonds we share
serving with fervour and love
with words as well as actions

Every day we can renew our vows
together as the dawn breaks
the rising sun shall be our witness
even if it will be the only one

Put down your blades and other weapons
I need you to survive
why should you to die for anyone
