I want you to know that I'm here for you
even though I am so far away
the miles do not affect how I feel
I would listen to you night and day

Even though I have to sleep at night
just send me a message or call
I will receive it as soon as I wake
to stop your tears as they fall

I can only send long distance hugs
but I wish that I could be by your side
working together on all your problems
helping to smooth out the rough ride

Please don't misunderstand me
when I offer you the best I can send
my ear is always open to you
and so it shall be until the very end
