652. I'd Use My Last Breath To Tell You I Love You Poem by Jaden Knight

652. I'd Use My Last Breath To Tell You I Love You

I'd use my last breath to tell you "I love you"
and hope that you'd know just how much I care
I could go in peace knowing that you knew
even if I could never hear your response

I would use my last acts to help you
as the reaper puts his hand on my shoulder
if I died assisting you it would not be a bad thing
as long I was doing something useful

People often appear and fade
many without leaving a trace
I hope to leave a mark of kindness on your life
so at least some of your days can be lighter

You are more like family to me than a friend
and that is why I am always here
there is nothing I wouldn't do for even if it kills
I hope to be able to look into your eyes as I pass
and use my last breath to tell you "I love you"
