7 More Autumn Haikus Poem by Peter S. Quinn

7 More Autumn Haikus

Rating: 4.8

melancholia,
those days of our gone summer
- never forgotten

our hours of summer,
with all summer birds singing
- their love melodies

be with me always,
in my heart memories
- to make tomorrows

my lotus blossom,
your flowers deep and still
- opening to me

my summer flower,
your seeds are still with me here
- in my spring garden

summer rose falling
to autumn still and darkness
- become memories

you are still with me,
as you always were before
- carnation flower
