754. The Octopus Penguin Poem by Jaden Knight

754. The Octopus Penguin

The octopus penguin knits a potato cat
from the sea of the lion horse cherries
the needles made from the hair of a baseball bat
and the eyes of the fish nosed berries

The seeds are used to freeze the parrot
cheering on a seahorse cheese
the gratings are trying to fly a carrot
growing from the toes of a shuttle's knees

The legs are painting the pillows of foxes
sprouting broccoli from spaghetti books
the pages are smashing pumpkin boxes
to sing the greens to chinchilla hooks

The barbs have run away from the garlic fish
as it wakes up to go to sleep
and now it wants to chew on a strawberry dish
as my shoes have run off to weep
