We pack our time in
Bundles of 10
Each year a fractal of the greater life
Time and passage
Pain in nerve and bone
The shadows of their lives
Stain holy ground
The essence of their being
A part of our everyday smells
We move amongst the worms of time
Broken down to the simple core
A changed world
Yet oddly the same
They are among us
In the rustle of a leaf
In the empty space of a quiet moment
And the searing light of a
Newborn’s eyes
I invite you to read my poetry regarding the events of September 11th...Take Cover, After The Towers Fell..as two of New York's poet's, we know the scars, still to be healed. Your scribe, so filled with shared sentiment. PEACE and prosperity. I revisit your words often.
I offer you, my poem, Reflections, written an the anniversary of 9/11...ever ingrained those images...least they be forgotten, shoveled into the ash of indifference. Your poems stir the sentiments I store in my heart's vault. Thanks for keeping the key. PEACE and prayers for a world ever better, somehow....
