A Baby's Birth. Poem by Solomon Terlumun Tule

A Baby's Birth.

Rating: 5.0

It was just sometime ago
A cry was heard in the neighborhood
Hiaa, hiaa, hiaaaa...!
Cry that announces a baby's fear
Found in a world that seem so strange.

Look! you're a year older today
It's obvious you're now happy and gay
Because fears you had are now old and gone
As not all are found with guns.

Now, you've become calm and bold
Thanking God for the day you were born
Because all your terror and fright is known
That all are friends and all are foes.
