A Beautiful Tree
A beautiful tree
A man under it
Playing a flute in stillness
People meandering to plough
Clad in dhoti-kurta
The man stops playing and starts walking
Trees, big and small trees
Large branches that gives shades
Even for an aggressor who cuts it
And makes a handle for ax
And to cut and remove the same tree
Forgives with love and shades it gives
He looks up at the tree
At the wind flowing through the leaves.
