A Beauty's Glance Poem by Sajid Ali

A Beauty's Glance

Rating: 5.0

My wits are lost
Search yet remains unquenched
All days pass within blink of an eye
Yet apt medium for thine glory remains undiscovered
May be you are a faery's child
A moon that smiles afar from sky
Most likely you are fed on heavenly foods
Otherwise where is that much beauty in this mortal world?
It alone resides in your being!
I have not seen a singer
Whose melody is more enchanting than thine voice
Diamonds shine but your glimmer overdo them in all aspects
