A Being Of Just Being Poem by Dorsey Baker

A Being Of Just Being

Are we
just some
beings
of identity
illusions
of reality?
occupation of
empty space?
to only justify
living
by existing

is breathing
the only thing
that makes us
feel alive?
no spirit
no hope
just emptiness
dark souls
imprisoned
in their empire
of mortal flesh
arrive at
a destination
of nothing
but a dead end!
