A Bird Came Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

A Bird Came

A bird came through the roof
But ah! the roof was
A roof of magic

O! that we live ever
In this magic paradise
Where woes are dispersed

Not with guns or courts
But at the mere stroke of
A magic wand.
