A Birthday Love Poem Poem by Daya Nandan

A Birthday Love Poem

There was a time when I wished an angel would fall from the sky,
An angel for me to love, the apple of my eye,
And on that night I saw a golden figure fly,
Had the maker heard my lonely cry? ,

Back in heaven an angel of the sun the maker did trip,
An angel of the daylight star fell through heavens rip,
She dived with grace of the sun the phoenix of the azure flames,
So graceful, so beautiful, so elegant, so angelic, a flying dame,

She fell with such grace, one could notice her lovely hips,
For a moment in time our eyes met and I saw her tantalizing lips,
Her eyes with enticing beauty that can match a solar eclipse,
And her enthralling smile that could lunch a thousand ships,

At the spur of the moment nothing was as what it seems,
It was so fast so beautiful I thought I was lost in my wildest dreams,
It was at that moment I failed to realize there was emptiness in my heart,
It was a journey that would began that would complete my heart,

Her name was...., she seemed to be the choosen one
Little did I know she was my universe, my sun,
Little did I know that this angel so beautiful and great,
She would soon be that special woman who would make my heart pulsate,

She was a golden angel of the sun so sweet and kind,
One thought of her is all it takes to leave the rest of the world behind,
When i tell her she is beautiful, she thinks i am blind,
without knowing she is all I want, all I need and all that is on my mind,

And though i cannot always be with her at times we are apart,
But she knows she will be the woman that will be in my heart,
Golden angel my dear lover love me with your gentle waysand your loving touch,
To this lovedrunk man your love will always mean so very much,

For all the beauty you bring out and loving things you do,
No matter what I will always be in love with you,
Before you blow those candles upon your birthday cake,
I want you to know I think of you each time I wake
