A Bit Longer Poem by Abraham Assefa

A Bit Longer

A bit longer
I should have gazed in your eyes a bit longer,
your beautiful... big... brown eyes
I should have stared-a bit longer- as they glittered
When you smiled and spread your cheeks.
But how could have I?
I hadn't even had enough of your lips
your shinning pursed lips.
