There For Me
As I get beaten down
Mercilessly forced to the ground
As my dreams get more bleak
And my hopes fade away
When my body becomes too heavy to lift
And my spirit even harder
When the world turns upside down
When misfortune comes in unannounced
When the brunt of it all is too difficult to bear
I want you to be there for me
As I am here, for you, now.
Wonderfully written, Abraham. I hope there are always such people around you.
Life's made of very harsh moments.. having a loved one beside is a comfort.. Believers would find that comfort in Faith, too
