A Black Hole Poem by Selina Gurgacz

A Black Hole

Rating: 5.0

A black hole,
that keeps getting bigger and bigger.
just a normal person.
but this person feels that they are invisible.
no one listens,
no one cares,
no one to ask for help.
just a voice echoing inside their mind.
not understood,
not loved,
not told that they can make it,
out of this labyrinth,
that seems to go on,
forever

The depression of adolescence is devastating and sadly increasing, so statistics tell us. This poem vividly paints depression as a black hole with no beginning and no end. I'm sure there are many on this site who will relate to your words, Selina. Great poem. Hope it's not personal... love, Allie xxxx
