A Book Of Blank Pages Poem by Dorsey Baker

A Book Of Blank Pages

The feeble old man is starting to
Turn some blank pages
A whole lot of
History is missing
And he don't know where it's at!
He can't seem to put
All the pieces together
Because they don't fit the puzzle
Faces in front of him
But he just don't know
Who they belong to!
Voices without a familar sound
They whisper in the darkness

He has become a alien
A stranger in a strange place
Afraid because he don't know
Nobody or nothing
In this place where he is at!
