A Brave Woman Poem by Hazel Mc Taggart

A Brave Woman

Rating: 5.0

Each day was a struggle,
For this little woman.
She walked with a limp,
In her right leg.
Her body so weak and frail,
Her skin yellowish pale.
Everyday tasks were difficult,
As her strength is gone.
The furthest she reached outside,
was sitting in a chair at the front door.
Her only outdoor visit,
Getting a check-up at the hospital.
She would get through each day,
With the help from her two daughters.
She wanted them to live their lives,
She would never hold them back.
She was a brave woman,
Never spoke of her pain.
All the agony shown through her eyes,
She didnt have to speak of it.
When life was down,
She held on for her daughters,
Her body going bit by bit,
Until she could no longer hold on.
Such a brave woman,
An amazing inspiration.
