A Bullet From A Rose Poem by Adams King

A Bullet From A Rose

Rating: 2.5

Love has never been so convincing
To denounce it constant unfaithfulness

I was blinded by it deceitful brightness
And it's pretty colors were do amazing

It's hilarious how we chose not to learn
Believing the perfect ones lives there

I took every breath from it soothing air
And tender my heart's resignation pen

When a man finds the woman he loves
He displays his most suitable attitude

If she look upon him with eyes of gratitude
No distance covered nor smiles are enough

When she struck me with Cupid's arrow
Creating a depth of deeper emotions

I was lost in her short lived affection
Which leaves me with sorrow to borrow

How quick it was for heaven to sour into hell
How sad being a stranger in your lovers home

Its like a bullet from the pretty red rose
Such is my heartbroken story I tell
