A Candle In The Heart

A candle in the heart
From them, Creoles
I receive the emails
jokes mostly, for laughter
but in times insulting
to those who “are not us”.
I, bridge between two
sea, sky and blue
with feelings for both sides
such insults hurt, cause pain.
On one hand cannot take
on other complain can break
Burn Bridge.
This candle flickers
in the heart day and night.
