she lays in bed crying
no one comes to comfort her
she is afraid to write it down
it just might make it real
for she is only little
and going through so much
her little heart is breaking
and she is hating the one she never new
so many could have stop it
but no one had the nerve
for it never should have happened
and it will go on till she can stop it
everyone says to tell but how do you say
something when you don't even
want it to be real
is she only dreaming is he really there
someone please stop him for this little
girl don't know how
she just keeps crying and hoping it is not real
someone please save her before it goes to far
but no one knows about it not her mother or
her friends she just can't talk about it
its to terrible for her so she pretends
she has a normal life with parents that keep her safe
and shes the only one who knows how hard
of game she is in so she just continues to pray
that she can find the end she don't want to win
she only wants to servive
Oh Heather... I just cried when I read this. Youve taken my breath away.
Child abuse is so rampant these days. There are a lot of people that should never be parents, because they haven't got the discipline. To hurt a young child in this manner is just so heartwrenching, it tears at the very fabric of the soul. This reminds me of my poem, Please Don't Tread On Me. Thank you for sharing this with us and letting us see the sickest part of human nature. You get a 10 from me, and I need a tissue. Hugs, Barbara
This is so heartrending...made me feel I was there with this child....real food for thought..thank you for showing us...

I would like to translate this poem
This poem is really so emotional which expresses the pain of a child who is puzzled with situations life has put her into and the pain doesn't lessen as she is afraid is why she should pray to god for a guiding star to help her see the light. I really liked reading this poem of yours.
