Where ever the wind has taken me.

A Classic Love Poem

Rating: 5.0

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I have never found
Anyone as gorgeous as you.

Lilacs are purple,
Tea leaves are green.
You are the smartest person
I have ever seen.

Sunflowers are yellow,
Pinecones are brown.
There hasn't been a day
That I've seen you frown.

Vines are green,
Some tulips are red.
One day, I do hope,
We will be wed.

It's really a beautiful poem, Dez, but roses are of many different colors not red only. You have wonderful spontaneity in your writing, keep it up. Best Wishes.
