Angels Do Survive Poem by Dez Clark

Angels Do Survive

Underneath the willow trees
I find a lonely stranger.
He was a gorgeous man,
Who wouldn't fret the danger.

I wander up to him,
I get lost in his eyes.
When he looks away,
I began to cry.

His face is so beautiful.
His lips a flawless trace.
The torment in his eyes
Leaves me lost in space.

I hug his neck immediatly,
Not wanting to let go
But soon enough he vanishes
I sink to my knees so slow.

My eyes are filled with tears,
But he left something behind!
A medallion that says,
'Angels never die.'
