A Classroom Without A Teacher Poem by Kashish Kalra

A Classroom Without A Teacher

Rating: 5.0

A classroom without a teacher
Is where students display their true feature

With high-pitched screams reaching far out
While some have got so much to speak about

As described by all it then becomes a fish- market
Where silence just doesn't fit

This is exactly what the monitor fears
When to her, no one adheres

A few still believe in prevailing peace
And the monitor's anxieties they try to decrease

As she dreads the teacher's arrival
When most of her classmates have become her rival

The monitor worries while the class enjoy's
Only until the teacher comes and ends their joy 's!

An insightful depiction of typical classroom activities by pupils or students, playing truancy in the absence of a teacher. A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely penned with conviction. I like the rhyme scheme of the poem. Thanks for sharing Kaira. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
