A Cognizant Life Forcé Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

A Cognizant Life Forcé

A Cognizant Force

As a fresh be,
I am tossed deep space
for a cognizant force,

Cognizant foes,
so I can remember life,
Ferret grasses
among the weeds,
My uncharismatic
redundancy,

Hand signature,
as committing knives
to know
If it's blood,

Kiss as to know it's tasted desire,
Death as to know it's sorrow,

Home of my brothers,
and sister's,
that staining the graveyard,

Veins as commonalities
as war, corruptions, murders,
and human folly,

Life as defense
of staying alive,

Superfluity as
disillusion,
and death's legacy,
Spat's with
the unconcerned God,
