The Voices From Mother Earth
The voice came from somewhere,
A tune from the sky,
A hum coming from the mountains
You can hear them in deep midnights,
In the early dawns,
It was a sound coming beyond the sea,
From another shore,
Like a prayer or a plea,
From the looming mountains beyond man's settlements, the tundras, the oasis and the grasslands,
Belonging perhaps from the susurations of streams,
Where the wild rivers and the sky conferred with the wide seas
In consummate agreements,
It was the voices of mother earth,
It said be kind to me and honor my wishes,
It said the trees are your cousins,
The animals and the birds are your friends,
The rains are my dissapointments,
And tears for my disobedient sons,
Most times my tears of gratitude if you obey my rules
Floods willcome from the uprooting of your cousins,
Famine for all if all your friends are slaughter
You'd be less than a lonely and lovely home,
If you mismanage my gifts,
Dont pour ashes on my face or you may hide the sun,
You may blind your own eyes with less visions,
You may burn your own house, if you play with fire,
Share equally my food with your brothers and sisters,
You are all my sons and daughters,
Everything you own are my properties,
You must not destroy your only home
For generations to come depends this one wish i have,
Love every gifts you recieved and you shall be honored.
You may burn your own house, if you play with fire, Share equally my food with your brothers and sisters, You are all my sons and daughters, Everything you own are my properties, You must not destroy your only home For generations to come depends this one wish i have, Love every gifts you recieved and you shall be honored.....most impressive and touching with nice theme.
