A Colourless Face Poem by Beth White

A Colourless Face

Looking back into the past,
My heart trembles with fear,
I hate to tell you I love you,
But it's all I see,
slowly walking across the streets where you lay

Dead, DEAD!
That's all they said
One bullet when straight through your head
Now your gone,
Your where you belong up in heaven

I sit beside you waiting for you to breathe,
But this is the end for you and for me
All I think about day and night is you
I hate you,
But im still insanely inlove with you

The hours tick bye,
And all I can feel is your cold face
And the love I used to embrace,
But now your just a colourless face
The days we argued,
The days we loved each other
Every day was better than the other,
But now I'm sitting here in the middle of the room,
Wishing I hadn't pulled the trigger and made the gun go boom

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this with my best friend really quick so it isn't the best but were happy with it. We wrote this talking to eachother on a messenger. Hope you like it as much as we do. :)

The ending is so shocking! But I love the twist of the poem tho'... Well delivered!
