The Mysterious Night Garden Poem by Beth White

The Mysterious Night Garden

With a quick kiss goodnight
And a warning the bed bugs bite
I headed off to bed

The stars shone beyond
Well I'm quite fond
Of the mysterious night garden
Oh quick look there's a comet
It's just stopped to say hi
To you and to me teddy

But I'm not quite ready to explore the sky
I don't know why
But I know it isn't time
So I mustn't whine
About the mysterious night garden

Have you ever seen the mysterious night garden?
Well I must say pardon
For you have not seen it all,
So come with me you'll have a ball
In the mysterious night garden

For who are you to say you'd rather stay
It'll keep the bed bugs away!
If you'll come with me to the mysterious night garden

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is completely original and wrote by me.
I know it's not the best but I'm 13 and have just started poetry as a hobbie.
This poem is about a little boy going to bed and looking out of his window
dreaming about the stars(the mysterious night garden) . I hope you enjoyed reading
and please comment on how I can improve my poetry, thank you.
