A Couple Poem by Isaac Helms

A Couple

Rating: 3.5

A couple fights late into the night
He drives away after the fight
She throws his stuff around
Out the window crashing to the ground

He gave up on them all
Searched with hands on the wall
She broke down and began to cry
The song of sorrow whispers bye

Went on rampage to drink and drive
Thought it was useless to be alive
She called him on his cell
Calm him down from hell

She wanted to talk
Wanted to go for a walk
She wrapped her arms around him
And he did the same
Wiped the tear from her cheek
They walked back home
To clean up there mess
