Dreams Of You Poem by Isaac Helms

Dreams Of You

Dreams of you fade away
Tell you why but I cannot say
A world that comfort then kills
More drugs in the form of pills

Only love became Mary Jane
Smoking his life away in vane
Stress that drives him insane
Only way to kill the pain

Rivers of tears they cross
A person that has become lost
Search for what is unknown
Pressure that breaks every bone

A sick and twisted fantasy
Battles fought with great ecstasy
Only trying to advance
No way of a second chance
Doesn’t want to be here anymore
Has nothing else to live for
