Lines curve strange pictures in our life,
Purple of dream melts into sorcery of dark.
I loved blue, while she erased her past,
Past confined beyond my reach, beyond my grasp.
Her smile, a sprinkle of infectious yellow,
Into the fountain of my lunatic life.
I wished, she understood my pain,
Pain of suppressed thousand slaughtered swans.
The coffee in my cup swirled to dance,
As I stirred my past into her heart.
Her heart tender as a stone,
Her heart bruised by million wounds.
I heard what she didn’t say,
I dreamt what she never meant.
I swam alone in this ocean of words,
I drowned and died every day.
My soul, lost in labyrinth of lies,
Her past, brewing under a shadow of blue fire,
We both lived our life every day,
Strangling our past, stewing our future,
Two ordinary people dreaming in a cafeteria.
There seems to be a communication gap between two lovers sharing their time over a cup of coffee: I wished, she understood my pain, Pain of suppressed thousand slaughtered swans. I heard what she didn’t say, I dreamt what she never meant.
