A Day In Paradise Poem by Ray Hansell

A Day In Paradise

Rating: 5.0

I'd rather play in the sun
Of course before the day is done

To walk along a sandy beach
Where your hand is within reach

Or, put my arm around your waist
As the salty air we can taste

This is the perfect time of year
Winters gone, spring is here

Listening to the roar of the sea
Always calms the inner me

While you on the other hand
Like to walk barefoot in the sand

We find a spot to sit and talk
While other couples continue to walk

We watch the waves rush to shore
I could never want for nothing more
